Nadine for Model Number JGBP35WEJ1WW GE told me that I needed to replace my control panel because my old one is giving me weird messages. They told me that all I needed was to order this part, but since it's cheaper on your website, I just ordered it here. To my big surprise, the part does not come with instructions; therefore, I need help installing this part. Also, do I need to buy anything else (screw...) with this in order to complete the work? Thanks
Answer Hi Nadine. There is a wiring diagram behind the control panel or behind the storage drawer area in a folded packet. Remove power. Remove the rear control panel cover. Use the cell phone or a camera to mark the wires before you remove them. They are The L-1 connection is a RED wire. The Blue wire is for the broil (BR) relay. The yellow wire is for the (BA) bake relay. The N -terminal is the white wire which is the neutral wire. There is a 5- pin connector that pin 1 is a gray wire. Pin 2 is a orange wire. Pin 3 is a yellow wire. Pin 4 is a white wire as well as the pin 5 wire being a white wire. The control will just have 2 - screws on each side holding it onto the mounts. The front overlay will peel off the original one. A new black one is part # WB27K10112. There are 2 others for your model as well but do not give pictures. We can research this for you if you need the part. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 2, 2012
