Mark for Model Number TFX24ZRXWW I am not sure I need this part, every so many hours the frig. cycles on / off for awhile then works ok. I've checked relay & compressor, ok. How do you check if the timer has a "bad spot"? Thanks!
Answer Hello Mark. The refrigerator should cycle on and off when the proper temperature is reached and when it is needed. If the timer WR9X489 is not sticking in defrost and causing the unit to warm up, then the timer should be ok. There is no way to test for bad spots, other than turning the timer manually and seeing if it turns the unit off when not in the defrost cycle. Hope this helps. Read More...
