Clewis for Model Number TFX22ZPDAAA My refrigerator compartment was not cool enough, but the freezer works fine. I did some exploring and found the freezer coils all froze up. I looked at the defrost tube and it looks like it's shot. The unit is close to 11 years old. Should I just replace the defrost tube and see if that fixes the problem, or should I replace this part too?
Answer Hello Clewis. You can test the heater and see if it is bad. It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, the new heater should fix your problem. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 22, 2011
