Dietrich for Model Number GSS25SGSC SS Water dispenser stopped working, ice and crushed ice are working and ice is being made normally. Selection for water on control panel seems normal in that the green indicator light comes on but no water is dispensed. What do I test to figure out if it is the main board or the dispenser display board? Thanks!!
Answer Dietrich, What you will want to do is remove the kickplate of the unit and disconnect the water line that comes to the freezer door. Make sure that you have a towel handy. Put the unit to water and push the dispenser like dispensing the water. If water comes out of the tub that comes out from under the refrigerator, then the water line in the door has frozen and you would want to install the dispenser tube heater kit part number WR49X10173.
