Paul Hoeft for Model Number JTP13 I have a 20 year old built in oven. Everything works fine except the self clean cycle cuts out prior to the cycle being finished and gives a overheating code. The unit does about 1/3 of the cycle prior to exiting the cycle. What is the most likely cause?? Thanks, paul
Answer Paul, In a lot of cases the overheating issue will be caused by a faulty oven sensor. If you test the oven sensor it should have a resistance rating of 1090 ohms. If outside of this range then the sensor is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 28, 2014
