Bernie for Model Number GE Model JBP66BY1AD What is the proper sensor kit for this Model ? Is it a 1100 ohm unit or a 15 ohm unit ? I was having trouble with it preheating and the oven element not coming on but after unplugging , checking things out and powering up again it seems to be working. Control board problem ?
Answer Bernie, the correct oven temp. sensor for the model number you supplied is WB23X5340/ WB23X5340, which is an 1100 ohm resistance oven sensor. It could be a control problem, but we wouldn't start there, start with the sensor, they can loose calibration and act erratic, when they get older, and if subjected to high temperatures on a constant basis.
