Carol for Model Number JTP14WV2WW My electric wall oven has been acting up and giving the F3 error off and on for awhile now. Just this week it finally won't heat up at all and all we get is the F3 error when we try to get it to heat. We think the sensor is the problem, but are having trouble figuring out what sensor # to order. Is it: WB23X5340 ? Any help/advice you can give would be much appreciated! Thank you!
Answer Hello Carol, You will need to measure the resistance of the temperature sensor WB23X5340 and if it reads about 1100 ohms at room temperature, (70°F), you will need to then perform the same test from the control end of the sensor harness, (2 white wires from pin 4 to pin 6 on the harness while unplugged from the board, testing the wires back toward the sensor). A difference in the reading indicates a bad harness while no problem found indicates a problem with the control WB27K5195. If there is an issue with this control you will have to contact a company such as Corecentric Solutions 866-737-2244/ corecentricsolutions.com to see if you can get this board repaired since this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided.
