Johniem for Model Number JGBP79WEB2WW My oven would not ignite. I read the manual, removed the cook top to look for and check the safety switch on the pressure control valve. It was not there. I cleaned the area and removed the warming tray to find the safety switch and it was ok. I replaced the igniter on the oven and that took care of the oven issue. But...the burners failed to spark when turned to the lite position. There was no clicking to ignite the burners. This was not an issue before I tried to "fix" the oven. So I replaced the spark module and the burners will still not ignite, no clicking when turned to the lite position. What should I do next? John
Answer Johniem, You will want to check the ignition switch wires to ensure that they are firmly attached to the spark module. If this checks ok then do a continuity test of the ignition switches. In the lite position they should have continuity. If not then the issue will be the switch. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 29, 2014
