Jerry for Model Number jgbp35wew1ww Only 1 and sometimes 2 of the ignitor electrodes spark when turning on any of the valves to light. Removing the burner heads, I can hear the burner spark module click. All of the spark electrodes are clean as well as the burner heads. When putting on the burner heads, one at a time, only the RF will spark fairly consistently. Sometimes even it will not spark, especially if it is warm, like it was on a few minutes ago. The RR burner head sparks intermittently, and the LF and LR will not spark at all now. The electrodes are clean and do not seem to be worn at all. This problem has been getting gradually worse over the last year. I have cleaned the ends of the electrodes and the burner heads, and they are spotless. I have pushed the burner heads to the side to make sure they come in contact with the air-gas mixing tube, which is also spotless and shiny, to make firm electrical contact to no avail. the question is, would it be the ignitors or the module, or the wires between the tow?
Answer Jerry, The issue sounds more like it would the spark module that would be causing the issue. It is possible that the wires could be faulty but would suspect the spark module. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 8, 2013
