Joe for Model Number GE WDSR2080D6WW Our washer stays on the wash cycle and keeps repeating. When I manually turn it to drain/rinse it just makes a buzzing noise that seems like it is coming from behind the knob. It does not drain or spin. It will go through the wash cycle in either the color or whites mode, but will not go to drain/rinse in either. Does that sound like the timer?
Answer Joe, based on you post description, yes. It does sound like a shorted contact(s) in the timer assembly WH12X10202 , your drain pump and motor spin direction, should run simultaneously. Thanks and Good Luck. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 8, 2011
