Yankeeinva for Model Number LFX31925SB

A few weeks ago, a repairman came and replaced the compressor and dryer. He charged the system to specs. About a week later I get "F dH" code on the panel. Called the repairman and he says just unplug the refrigerator to reset. That worked for a short while, now the Freezer evaporator is completely iced over. The defrost coil has continuity. The frost pattern on the evaporator seems to be OK . Is there a way to test the "Controller Assembly", or should I just replace it? Any other part that would be likely to have failed. Thanks in advance for your advice.

YankeeInVA, you may want to test the heater for resistance. The heater should read in between 41.8 to 46.2 ohms. If it is out of this tolerance, it can impact the heaters ability to function properly. Another concern could be the defrost sensor 6615JB2005R. At room temperature, the defrost sensor should read 11k ohms. At 5 degrees Fahrenheit the sensor should read 60.13k ohms, at -4 degrees Fahrenheit it should read 76.96k ohms. These would be the parts that you would want to check before replacing the main control [EBR75234703].
