Joe W. for Model Number LFXS30726S I'm losing my mind trying to figure out why my LG french door refrigerator isn't getting cold enough. The freezer isn't either. Initially, I opening up the bottom rear panel and vacuumed out the condenser coils and vent louver. They were covered in very thick dust and dirt. The condenser fan was working when the compressor was running. I let it run overnight but it is still not cold enough. I decided to replace the evaporator fan in the freezer. I checked continuity of the old one and noticed it only had continuity while I manually turned the motor shaft so I figured that should be the problem. It still doesn't seem to be getting to the proper temperature. Should I replace the temperature sensor in the freezer? Does that second evaporator fan push just push air up into the door for the ice maker? When I replaced the motor there was a fine even layer of frost across the entire evaporator coil so I didn't think there were any issues there. I'll let it run overnight but I'm losing hope.
