Ron for Model Number lre30757st I have changed this part 3 times in one year because every time a technician comes and installs the part, it lasts a only a few months and goes again. What can I check beyond this part when the range is cut on that may cause this part to short?
Answer Ron, You want to check and insure you have a proper power supply to the range. Make sure the wiring connections at the terminal block are all good and tight as possible. Check for less than a 10% drop or rise in voltage at the terminal block, across the two outside terminals, when the range is in use(under a load). If alls OK, you'll need to check he wiring harness for possible "pinches" to the cabinet panels and supports, or loose connections at components, causing a rise in the amperage draw, and causing the control to burn.
