A general instruction is: access the back of the unit and unplug the refrigerator. From there, remove the screws from the small access panel just above the compressor compartment. Once the panel is removed, remove the original control from the housing and switch each wire one at a time to the new control. Once the wires are on the new control, you will want to insert the new control into the housing and reverse the removal procedure.
