Brokefridge for Model Number 79577563600 The refrigerator temp in both freezer and refrigerator is going haywire. We replaced the control board and didn't help a lick. How do u replace the temp sensors? They don't have a quick connect. How do u pull the wires to replace it? Do u just cut and splice the wires? Is this the right fix?
Answer Brokefridge, With the units temps going haywire and the unit having a new control board, the issue does sound like it could be caused by the sensor. To replace the sensor you would cut and splice the wires. The best type of connection to use would be a bell connector and once you clamp it use a silicone to seal inside the bell connector to keep from getting moisture at the connection. Read More...
