Jordan for Model Number 795.72093.310 I have a refrigerator that the temperature in the cabin varies quite a bit. I have seen it at 52 and down to about 20. I am thinking the thermistor is bad, but am not sure if it could be the board as well. I tested what I believed was the thermistor and got .4 ohms. It was at the bottom of the cabin on the back plate that is removed to access the fan and coils. Only 2 white wired connected to it. I would have thought the thermistor should be higher up in the cabin, but cannot find where it could be. I have also never seen the fan work in the cabin. Is this the right part to replace the thermistor or are you thinking it would more likely be the control board? Thanks.
Answer Hello Jordan. There are several thermistors used in the unit. You will need to test them all and if they are good, then replace the board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
