Fridgey for Model Number Kenmore 79576203901 A few days ago ice started looking smaller and wet. The freezer was not maintaining freezing temp (set to 0F). The refrigerator seems to be in the ballpark of 37-40 (set to 37). Ran Diag Test1 - No Issue Noted Ran Diag Test2 - No Issue Noted. Condensor Fan appears to be running okay. The condenser is very warm to the touch. Line out of Condenser Warm/Hot. No heat on the Condensor Coils (which were mildly dusty when I first looked but cleaned those off, no change). Start Relay appears to be okay. Evaporator Fan appears to be running okay. Looks like pipes leading into Evaporator Coils frozen up. Appears isolated to entry point (entire evaporator coils are not frozen). I tried to defrost those manually, but almost instantly begin to refreeze. Looking for advice on what the next triage step might be.
Answer Fridgey, With the evaporator coil have frost on the incoming lines but not on the entire evaporator then this will require service as there is a sealed system issue in which there is a leak or a restriction somewhere. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 27, 2020
