Kare for Model Number LFX31945ST my temperature inside the fridge goes up and down , sometime 32 f and freezing food, and sometime above 41 f, coil is not dirty, vents not blocked, sealed fine. Someone told me i need to check the temperature thermostat, but i do not know the location for the thermostat for this particular model? and how to get access to it? i watched the video in this page but this is for different model than what i have. thanks
Answer Kare, the refrigerator thermistor is going to be located at the bottom of the refrigerator evaporator cover. To access it, the shelves would all need to be removed. Once the shelves are out, there will be several screws that would need to be taken out. This will allow the evaporator cover to be pulled forward. The thermistor wires can be accessed at this point, whereas the thermistor is going to be accessed after lifting up the bottom insulation from the cover assembly. Read More...
