Joe M. for Model Number Kenmore Elite 795.77564600 Good Morning, I have a Kenmore Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, Model # 795.77564600 purchased 01/20/2007. A few days ago I noticed that the water dispenser on the door did not give me any water and there was some frozen cokes and drinks in the frig compartment. I had stocked the compartment pretty good so I thought it might be an air flow issue. I removed most of the goods and did a power reset of the fridge. I put a thermometer in the compartment and now the temperature in going back and forth from 31 to 42 degrees up and down. I am thinking Temp sensor so I ordered the part and will receive it today. My settings on the door display are Freezer 0 deg. and frig 39 D. Am I on the right track here? If the wires are long enough I could test the suspected sensor in a bag of Ice water and check the resistance at the control board wires(disconnected from the board). Thank you in advance for your expertise, Joe
Answer Joe M, Yes, I would do a resistance check on the thermistor to confirm whether it is good or bad. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 23, 2023
