Mark for Model Number DLG2522W My dryer won't heat. I can see the glow of the igniter from the access port/panel. It glows for 10-15 seconds, then goes out. I replaced the gas burner valve assembly, but still no heat...HELP.
Answer Mark, the valves would need to be tested for DC voltage from the main control. From the three-wire BL connector, the black probe of a meter will be placed at the red wire while the red probe of the meter would be used on the pink wires. If the DC voltage is less than 10VDC when the dryer is in operation, then the main control is not sending the voltage necessary to the valves for them to open. If there is 10VDC or more, then there may be a wiring issue that will need to be traced out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, October 24, 2019
