Myron for Model Number LFCS22520S/00 Freezer working fine -- maybe even a little cooler than usual. Refrigerator not cooling, and airflow not happening in the refrigerator when doing the test with a magnet to get airflow to turn on. This happened after a 4-day power shutdown from the utility board. I was using bagged ice to keep the refrigerator contents cool, but this added a LOT of water to the refrigerator compartment, which I'm guessing caused the evaporator to freeze over and to stop the fan motor when the power came back on. I'm further guessing the fan motor must have failed. So, I'm ordering parts to replace the fan motor. Should I replace anything else at the same time while I have the freezer dismantled? I would prefer to have all the parts at hand, so I don't have to do it a 2nd time.
Answer Hello Myron, The complete assembly for the fan and mounting assemblies is AEB73865902. while in there you should check the air duct to the fresh food compartment for frost build-up. You should also check the duct assembly in the rear of the fresh food compartment for any frost accumulation. If this assembly is found to be defective for air-flow, it ADJ73712911 should also be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 29, 2019
