Ann for Model Number 795.79043.310 Both cabinets are cool but not cool enough and freezer not freezing, coils clean, fan running and I would like to proactively replace the thermistor... I see the access and can pry off the cover, but how do I get the thermistor plug out of the area? Do I take the entire back cover off or is there another access point in the freezer compartment?
Answer Ann, For this temperature sensor, you will remove the rear wall inside the freezer compartment. Once removed you will be able to replace the sensor. Also, check the evaporator coils to make sure that there is a full even frost pattern. If there is very little frost then this sounds like a sealed system issue. Read More...
