Peter for Model Number LFXS26973S/10 Hello I have a Lg french door refrigerator model number LFXS26973S/10. The temperature in the refrigerator section is warmer than what is indicated on the panel Panel = 33 and Thermometer = 40 in the frig middle level. If I set the temperature higher then the temp in the frig goes higher. The freezer is working ok some frost not a lot. Is it the temperature sensor? Thank you Peter Cafasso
Answer Hello Peter, thank you for contacting APP, Yes, this is most likely to be the Temperature Sensor 6500JB2002X, if you remove that temperature sensor from the unit and place it in a glass of ice water for 2 to 5 minutes it should read about 30kOs resistance with a multimeter at 32°F. If you test the sensor in this manner and it is reading in range then the issue is likely to be with the Main Control EBR86093702. Read More...
