John M for Model Number 79571303012 The light in the freezer doesn’t work. I’ve replaced the bulb and still not working. I found the replacement switch on your site. When the freezer door is left open, it makes a chime sound and when I close it the chime stops. My question is, could it be a faulty switch? Does the switch work both the open door sensor and light? I’d hate to order the part to just find that the bulb still won’t work and it’s a different problem. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Answer John, You can test for continuity thru the switch before ordering.If fails part # 6600JB3007K is your part.If switch passes you need to back track power source checking plug connectors at control for loose connections.
