Tom for Model Number ZISW42DYA The fridge does not run after I add freon 134a, I then unplug and plug it back, it hums for a couple of seconds then shuts off. The motor protector gets very hot, I release some freon and now it's run, the compressor run, but it is not cold? What is the problem.Thank You Tom for GE Model Number ZISW42DYA
Answer Tom, The first thing is you need to make sure that the correct amount of refrigerant is in the unit. The model tag has that information on it.
