Peter for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA-0001 Hello, Freezer in my refrigerator gets cold, but does not freeze. Would replacing the temp sensor be a a proper place to start with? Also, would the DA32-10109W be the correct replacement part? Thanks, Peter
Answer Peter, You can test the thermistor for resistance.0 degrees should give you a resistance of 29 to 30k ohms. 10 degrees is around 22k ohms and 20 degrees would be around 17.5 ohms. Also, check to make sure there is not a defrost issue where ice is accumulating and blocking the coils and restricting air flow. A sign of this is usually ice build up on the back wall. Read More...
