James for Model Number RFG297HDWP/XAA We came home to a flooded kitchen floor from water from the fridge. The ice was all melted all other features were working. I've replaced the ice maker but it does not make ice. The test button chimes indicate that it is operational. There is no water in the tray. What should I do next?
Answer James, Try to press the test button on the icemaker and see if the icemaker cycles. If it does but does not bring water in then the likely cause would be a water valve that stuck open and the water valve would need to be replaced. Read More...
