George T. for Model Number whirlpool washer wtw5200sqo Machine fills with water, however thats all its doing, not washing. Any help? Machine is less than 4 years old. No burning smell just won't wash.
Answer Hello George. It sounds like the lid switch is bad. You will need to test it and see if it is good. It should read closed, with the lid shut. If it is open, you will need to replace it. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
