Alan, The only way to check the icemaker would be during a cycle and check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the water valve when the icemaker calls for water. If there is no power then the icemaker would be the issue. You will also want to check the emitter board. Open the door and on the right wall there should be a light flashing. Push the flapper on the left door without blocking the hole on the flapper and see if the light continues to flash or glows solid. If the light continues to flash then replace the emitter board.
