Neil for Model Number 2198597 The ice production is very low and I just replaced the assembly. Is there an adjustment to increase production.
Answer Neil, There is not a way adjustment to produce more ice. On this unit there should be 8 cubes made approximately every 1 to 1 1/2 hours. If the icemaker is not making that much then the issue would most likely be in the emitter board if it is faulty or that the temperature in the freezer is not cold enough. If the freezer temp is not cold enough then you will want to check for the fan motor running and check the coils to make sure that they have a good even frost pattern and that they are not impacted with ice.
