L. V. for Model Number admiral fridge gs2614cxfw The icemake makes hollow ice, sometimes won't make any ice at all, and an icicle forms on the front right part of the icemaker. I also noticed ice along the bottom of the tray as if water half flowed then frozen at the bottom. I get water but it takes some time after it begins to flow, to get cold water. Unit is 10 yrs old and I kind of remember getting cold water from the start. thanks
Answer Hi L.V. Is your water line kinked? Have you changed your water filter in the past 6-mo's? If you are not getting the water out the dispenser along with the ice maker issues, then you will need to replace the water valve part # 61005626. Thank you. Read More...
