Pat for Model Number 2198597 Ice maker just stopped making ice. Don't hear water filling the machine. Checked the light on the side two flashes then pause and repeats. Once flap is pushed we get solid light. Replaced the filters, thought that might be the problem. Still nothing. Switch is on. Any suggestions
Answer Pat, You will want to check to see if there is water in the icemaker. If there is no ice in the icemaker then you will want to pull the icemaker and check the fill tube to see if it is frozen. This will be the most likely cause for the issue. If the fill tube is frozen then the water valve is most likely seeping and will need to be replaced.
