Lesa for Model Number KBF042FTX03 I believe the water line to my icemaker is frozen. Short of turning off the entire refrigerator is there a way to defrost the water line?
Answer Lesa, With the location of the fill tube and ice maker, you'll need to open the drawer and remove the upper baskets, or remove the drawer. Use a blow dryer and very carefully circulate the hot air around and over the fill tube. (Don't overheat the area, you can create larger problems). If the fill tube is frozen, you'll want to replace the water inlet/fill valve WP2307650 most of the time a frozen fill tube is due to a fill valve that doesn't seal completely and drips water into the tube, causing it to freeze.
