Joyce for Model Number 2198597 ice maker in kenmore 106.57024601 Kenmore side by side , with ice and water in door. I installed a new ice maker .Now it wont fill up .Water does come out at the door . What do I need to try?
Answer Joyce, You will want to pull the icemaker out and check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If frozen clean ice out of tube and replace the water valve. Check the emitter board and make sure that it is good by opening the door. With door open the light on the right wall should flash. If the light flashes then push the flapper on the left side and see if the light glows solid or continues to flash. If it continues to flash then it will be a bad emitter board.
