Pearlean the ice maker is not connected for making ice and i was wondeing what position is the little metal rod that is on the maker suppose to be in up position or down position in the freezer compartment? Sometimes a little water be dripping on the very top shelf inside the refrig.
Answer Pearlean, " the little metal rod that is on the maker " should be in the "UP" position to turn Off the ice maker. But if " the ice maker is not connected for making ice " then there should be no water on the top shelf in the refrigerator. Another remedy could be to disconnect the ice maker wire harness from the connector on the back wall of the freezer compartment ?
