Michelle for Model Number AP3182733 I replaced my broken ice maker and the new one is producing ice, but at a much slower rate than the original. Is there a timing mechanism that I can adjust to have it drop the finished cubes more often?
Answer Michelle, There is no timing mechanism that will help to produce ice faster. This unit should produce ice about every 1 to 1 1/2 hours and only puts out 8 cubes at a time. The only thing that will affect how quick the unit makes ice would be the temperature of the freezer which should be between 0 and 5 degrees. If it is not withing this range it can cause longer ice production times. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 13, 2018
