Jim for Model Number ed5lvaxwq00 When the ice has been tripped, not all the ice is going to the bin, causing the water to spill over into the freezer (not good). In looking at it, it seems to have a crack on the front part of the ice maker. I am trying to remove the ice make to verify, but not luck. I have removed the screw in the back right bottom side, what should I do next? Any ideas or do I need to get a new ice maker?
Answer Hello Jim. There is a screw under the bottom on the right back corner, that will need to be removed. Once removed there are locking tabs on each side that will need to be released. Once released the icemaker 2198597 will slide forward. and you will need to unplug the icemaker. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 6, 2012
