Mike for Model Number maytag MAH8700AWW Washer stopped part way through cycle and is dead-no error codes,no display,no lights,door locked up. Unplugged it overnight and still the same. There is power to the control board. Is the contol board bad? And if so could another component have knocked out the board and thus destroy any new replacement board?
Answer Hello Mike. If the board is dead, then you will need to replace the control board 34001494. It sounds like it took a surge and should only need the control board.
