Mike for Model Number GEW9250PW0 on my front panel when I push the control on. All I get is very dim light on time indicator and the damp light indicator lights up also. but very dim. I unplug over night sometimes for two days .It comes on and starts, may do a load or two, if your lucky and then back to square one. Oh an while it's working, sometimes the dryness level indicator all lights up from high to air only. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer Mike, check and make sure there are no loose connections at the terminal block, where the power cord attaches,at the back of the dryer. Remove the top of the dryer, and check the wire harness, that attaches between the front control board and the power board on the left side of the cabinet interior. Make sure there are no loose connections, and theres no corrosion on the pin connectors. If the problem persists, You'll need to circuit test the ribbon connectors before you replace the control boardWP8546219 . Good Luck. Read More...
