Angela for Model Number MED9700SQ0 Control panel lights up, press start button, hear the click and nothing happens. I had a local repair person come out and he tested all the normal things, belt, fuses, etc. He says the motor works, the unit is getting power, belt is fine, etc. He feels that the problem must be the computerized part of the dryer, and this will be a costly repair. I am kind of handy, is this something I could repair myself using part # AP3775548? My husband and I are both public school teachers, with 4 children, so I try to save money anywhere I can! :o)
Answer Hello Angela, I would definitely check the door switch. If you want to replace the control WP8546219, it isn't that difficult. Be sure to unplug the unit and remove the main top.
