Kate for Model Number GEW9250PW0 All of my LED lights on the user panel are dead. The light inside dryer works. I have power coming into plug and terminal block and into P1 on main control board. How can I verify whether the main control board is bad or the user inteface board is bad?
Answer Kate, A couple of checks to make. At the main control board check for 120 volts across P1 pin5(blk) and P1 pin 3(blu), with the door switch closed. If all's OK, you'll need to test the key pad / buttons resistance circuits with a your meter (page 6 of the tech data information sheet). There is voltage into the control board at all times, but no power out until the selection is made and the start button is pressed.
