Kathleen for Model Number 110.8586.1400 Electric Dryer doesn't seem to be getting any current. Front panel doesn't light up, and there is no current to the lightbulb inside the dryer (bulb works when I put it in the chandelier). Circuit breaker is fine and my husband tested the wall outlet for current. (At one point today, you could see 2 blurred, faint lines of light in the timer window, and one small light glowed dimly on front panel.) My husband did Test #1 (Supply Connections) on tech sheet, which eventually lead us to the Machine Control Electronics. The tech sheet says to replace this circuit board. My records indicate that this circuit board was replaced 6-14-12. Could it be something else?
Answer Hello Kathleen, If you have 120vac going to Connector P1 between pins 5 and 2 but you do not have anything anywhere else then you would need to replace control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 19, 2012
