Answer Lex, You will want to pull the cover of the damper assembly in the refrigerator compartment and make sure that the damper door is open. If the damper door is not opening then the damper is most likely faulty and would need to be replaced. Also check to make sure that the evaporator fan motor is running and that there is no frost building on the rear wall of the freezer compartment. If there is frost building then the issue would be a defrost failure in which you will want to test the defrost heater and thermostat for continuity. If either does not have continuity then that part would need to be replaced. If they both check ok then the defrost control would need to be replaced. Read More...
