Answer Al, The defrost timer is located in the front of the refrigerator, behind the kick plate grille. It should be slightly off center and to the right of the center line of the machine. Make sure you remove power to the refrigerator before you start the repair, and you'll probably find it easier to remove the timer mounting plate, replace the timer then install the assembly back in the base of the machine.
