Phil for Model Number arb2117as Hello. Just wondering if I can check continuity of defrost system from defrost clock or anywhere else. I replaced thermostat on this fridge and a month ago now it seems to be iced up again. Can I check the voltage off the defrost clock going to defrost system? Thanks. Phil
Answer Hello Phil. Test the heater WP10428409. It should read closed for continuity. If you turn the timer R0131577 to run, 1 and 4 should read closed. It turned to defrost 1 and 2 should read closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
