Bobbi for Model Number LSQ9549LW0 My washer has been acting funny for a few months. Many times, when I open the lid it pushes in the knob & shuts off the washer. This never used to happen. And, sometimes it spins out the water & sometimes it doesn't. It seems to agitate fine. It fills, it pumps the water out, but much of the time it doesn't spin. When I go to empty it & the clothes are sopping wet, I turn the dial to another spin cycle & sometimes it spins & sometimes not. Sometimes no spin cycle will work & I have to wring them out by hand. Do you know what this could be? My husband replaced the coupler (?I think it's called) about a year ago when it wouldn't spin at all & it looks fine. What do you think?
Answer Bobbi, In most cases for a no spin issue on your unit, it would be caused by a faulty clutch assembly not engaging to go through the spin. The part number for the clutch assembly is 285785. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, June 20, 2014
