Albert for Model Number Whirlpool Electric Dryer GEW9250PWO Hi there! My dryer turns on but won't start. I noticed that the status is not lighted up and not sensing anything. It only beeps for a second. Could it be the reason why it won't start? Thanks.
Answer Hello Albert. Check for a broke belt and test the thermal fuse and door switch. Either can cause the issue your having. If the fuse is bad, check the vent and make sure the temperature is cycling on and off. If it does not cycle, you will need to order and replace the main board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
