Dennis for Model Number wep 9400sw1 The clothes get very hot in dryer and it seems to be adding time when the clothes are already dry. Could the moisture sensor be bad?
Answer Hello Dennis. The sensor bar WP3387223 can cause the problems your having. First check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry or the sensor bar to add time. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 26, 2011
