Gregg for Model Number 11092826102 OK, so my Kenmore elite HE3 gas dryer still does a terrible job of drying clothes. On the auto cycle, the indicator says dry, but clothes are damp. On timed dry with equivalent settings to the auto dry mode, it still seems to take forever. I've replaced the gas valve coils and thermistor, and I've checked the ignitor, flame sensor, and high limit thermostat. The entire vent system is clean from inside the dryer to the exhaust outside, so it's not that. At your suggestion, I also replaced the gas valve assembly. That seemed to help somewhat; the burn cycle used to only come on for about ten seconds, now it stays on for a few minutes at a time. In terms of what's left, there's the moisture sensors, moisture sensor wiring harness, and the computer control unit. The moisture sensor checks out fine for the "wet finger test" and resistance, but when I run the diagnostic on it, doesn't supply the code number it's supposed to, so maybe something in that loop?
Answer Hello Gregg, If the unit has an issue and the self diagnostic model is not showing you the code, the issue is most likely in the control WP8546219. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 19, 2016
