Felipe M. for Model Number GEW9200LW0 Auto settings suck on this dryer. I have had to go to timed dry to get the deal done. Elect. dryer. Kinda figure it is the moisture sensor. Cheap and easy to replace, unless I should "clean" it first?
Answer Hi Felipe. After some time of dryer fabric sheets use they will leave residue build up on the moisture bars. Take some "scotchbrite" and scuff clean the bars so they can sense once again. Remove power and lower panel. On the rt. side if the lint catcher area is a wiring harness with a blue color -"mov"- the size of a "nickel" . Make sure this is plugged in all the way and not damaged. This short harness assy. is part # WP3406653. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2011
